$19.64 to $21.60 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Palm Bay. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs skilled crafts and trades work operating moderately complex automotive vehicles or equipment and performing routine automotive service and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) years of experience operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment including an A Boom or Tractor Mower used to maintain public rights-of-way and construct infrastructure such as roads, drainage systems, and sidewalks OR two (2) years of experience as a Brevard County Automotive Equipment Operator II. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience leading a mowing team and setting cycles is preferred. Experience with a work management system, including tasks like opening and closing work orders and uploading photo documentation is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, or any natural or man-made disaster threatening the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
