Auto Thread Rolling Set-Up & Operator – 1st Shift (Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire)

?? Location: New Berlin

?? Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (Based on experience)

? Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

?? Steel-toe boots required

About the Job:

We are looking for an Auto Thread Rolling Set-Up & Operator to operate and set up Waterbury Farrel thread rollers. This role requires mechanical skill and knowledge of thread features to make necessary adjustments during set-up and operation.

What You’ll Do:

?? Read blueprints or job orders for product specifications (dimensions, tolerances, materials, etc.).

?? Set up and operate thread rolling machines to produce quality parts.

?? Inspect first-run and sample workpieces to ensure they meet specifications.

?? Troubleshoot machine issues and perform preventive maintenance.

?? Maintain an organized and clean work area.

?? Follow safety and ISO guidelines in daily work procedures.

What You Need:

? High school diploma or equivalent.

? Experience operating thread rolling machines preferred.

? Ability to read and use micrometers, calipers, height stands, and comparators.

? Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing).

? Ability to interpret blueprints and work instructions (written & oral).

? Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting programming, tooling, and material issues.

? Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.

? Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment near moving machinery, oils, and solvents.
