An Automotive Service Advisor at Lake Auto will act as a liaison between our customers and our service technicians, ensuring a positive customer experience. They greet customers, assess vehicle issues, provide estimates, schedule appointments, and manage the repair process, while also addressing customer concerns and ensuring complete customer satisfaction. 
No previous automotive experience? No problem! Our Service Managers have plenty of experience and will train you to be successful!
Here’s a more detailed breakdown of an Automotive Service Advisor’s responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction:
  • Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and document vehicle issues
  • Provide clear and accurate explanations of repairs and maintenance options
  • Answer customer questions and address concerns throughout the service process
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
• Service Coordination:
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians
  • Prepare repair orders, including descriptions of problems and recommended services
  • Obtain customer approval for repairs and services
  • Manage the flow of vehicles through the service center.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Possess basic computer and phone knowledge
  • Consult with technicians to determine the best course of action
  • Advise customers on proper vehicle maintenance and care
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Process payments and handle invoices
  • Maintain accurate records of customer service interactions and repair orders
  • Manage customer accounts and track service history
• Sales Opportunities:
  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional services or products based on vehicle miles and history
  • Promote the dealership’s services and products to customers
• Other Duties:
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries via texting and/or emailing
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Lake Service Departments offer a variety of alternative transportation methods to assist our customers while their vehicle is in our shop, such as:
  • Complimentary Uber & Lyft Rides to and from home or work
  • On site Shuttle Driver to pick up or drop off customers at their home or work
  • Complimentary vehicle Pickup and Delivery Services for customers vehicle…again, from their home or work
  • Over 70, Complimentary, Courtesy Transportation Vehicles for customers to use while their vehicle is being serviced at Lake

Lake Chevrolet and Lake Ford have completely remodeled, state of the art facilities sitting on a combined 27 acres. We have large, amazing Service Drives and HUGE air-conditioned Service Departments. Lake Ford and Lake Chevrolet are directly across the street from one another and have a combined 87 hoists and open over 4,000 Repair Order a month!
Lake Chevrolet and Lake Ford have been serving Milwaukee and the surrounding Southeastern Wisconsin communities for over 100 years!  
Our Service Departments are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing our Advisors and Technicians to spend their weekends with family and friends!
