Job Description:
AAA is seeking a skilled B Level Automotive Technician to join our team. As a B Level Technician, you will perform intermediate-level automotive repairs and maintenance, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role requiresa strong foundationin automotive systems, diagnostic skills, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform intermediate repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, and fluid services.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.

Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Document all repairs, parts, and labor accurately in the shop management system.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about repair needs and progress.

Stay updated on automotive technology andparticipatein ongoing training.
Total Compensation Overview:
TechnicianB’swill earn a competitive salary of$40,000 – $85,000+annually witha potentialweekly productionbonus.

Required Qualifications
-
High School diploma, GED,or technical school graduate, certification
-
Mustpossessavalid driver’s license
-
3 years minimum experience repairing vehicles at a dealership or automotive center.
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems,tools,andtechnical resources and training to independently perform a variety ofbasic tocomplex repairs and maintenance of automobile and truck vehicles.

Understand and consistentlydemonstratethe proper use of equipment and tools used in such repair and maintenance,as well asthe need tomaintaina clean, safe,and organized work area.

Ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service score
-
Ability to prioritize and deliver work on time.
-
Ability and basic leadership skills to mentor and trainlower-levelTechnicians to help them be successful.
Preferred Qualifications
-
ASE certifications (or their equivalent): A4-Suspension & Steering, A5-Brakes, plus 2 other ASE certifications
-
State inspection certificate,where applicable

AC 609 Certification
Work Environment
-
May experience loud noises and odors intermittently in the shop environment.
-
This position involves standing, walking,and normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing,lifting,and carrying automotive parts and equipment (averaging up to approximately 80 pounds in weight)

Must haveowntoolsappropriate fortheir skill level for use in the Center.
-
Must be able to work in the heat, as some locations do not have air conditioning.

Must be able tomaintainworking on your feet in a concrete facility for the entire work shift.
