Job description
MPI are currently looking to fill 2 positions for B1 Licensed Engineers for our client in Holyhead, Isle of Anglesey.One on a 4X4 shift and one is on a rotating early/late shiftThe rate of pay is £72,000 per annum.Roles and Responsibilities:
Carry out and certify routine and non-routine maintenance including defect rectification within the line and base maintenance environment, working within both the CAA & MAA Regularity requirements.
Updating maintenance records within the company’s maintenance information software.
Supervising and monitoring the performance of engineering staff (Technicians), providing guidance when appropriate.
Support Affinity operations, as required.
Promote, endorse, and comply the company’s Quality and Health & Safety procedure.Essential Experience:
Experience of working in a UK CAA Part 145 environment.
Experience of supervising staff.
Experience of working and certifying maintenance within Line and Base maintenance.
Experience of working closely with multi-site teams, building relationships and leveraging them to deliver outstanding performance in a highly regulated environmentEssential Qualifications:
UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence
Ability to acquire UK security clearance.
Full UK driving licence.Essential Competencies:
Detailed knowledge of UK CAA Part 145 regulations with working practices and acceptable means of compliance within an Aircraft Maintenance Environment.
Detailed knowledge of Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Understanding of UK CAA Part CAMO regulations.
Understanding of UK CAA CAP 562 Leaflet B-40 CAA Oversight of Military Registered Aircraft (COMRA) – Policy and Principles.
Understanding of MAA regulations.
Enjoy working both indoors and outdoors, as well as in all types of weather conditions.
Fluent, both written and verbal, in English.Essential Behaviours:
