Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Background Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the background check process for potential candidates, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to safety and quality in our staffing solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the background screening process from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of background forms, identifying any discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific background requirements for various positions.
  • Maintain and update records of background checks and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout entire background check process, including live scan, fingerprinting, etc.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in background screening regulations.
  • Assist in training staff on background check processes and best practices.
  • Assist with aging reports and bid preparation to ensure timely submissions and up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications:

  • experience in background screening processes, including familiarity with live scan and ink fingerprinting, is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software related to background checks and record-keeping.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding background checks is preferred.
