The Role The Bakery Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring bakery production equipment, ensuring that all products meet Legacy Bakehouse’s quality and efficiency standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth production, food safety compliance, and equipment reliability. What You’ll Do
Set up, operate, and monitor the continuous mixing and pita lines.
Perform routine equipment inspections, identify maintenance needs, and report issues to your supervisor.
Conduct product testing according to internal and customer specifications.
Record production data, lot numbers, and quality checks at required intervals for traceability.
Adjust equipment settings to maintain target production and quality standards.
Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements, including daily and scheduled cleaning per the cleaning matrix.
Complete line changeovers and prepare for the next production run efficiently.
What We’re Looking for
Reliable and detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills.
Ability to read and write in English (Spanish proficiency a plus).
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Prior experience in food manufacturing required; QA or food safety experience preferred.
Willingness to learn and apply technical concepts (SQF, HACCP, Food Safety).
