BANKING LAWYER | NQ-3 PQE | International Law Firm | Birmingham BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting an international law firm in seeking a Banking Lawyer (NQ-3 PQE) to join its dynamic Banking team in Birmingham. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on a variety of banking transactions, including real estate, leveraged and corporate lending, asset-based lending, and receivables financing. The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, with flexible and hybrid working options available. Excellent salary and benefits are on offer. The Role As a Banking Lawyer in this team, you will: – Work on a broad range of financing transactions, acting for leading UK clearing banks, investment banks, and independent funders. – Gain experience in areas such as acquisition finance, leveraged finance, real estate finance, securitisation, debt capital markets, and asset-based lending. – Provide legal advice to a diverse range of clients, from listed companies to small enterprises, with a strong emphasis on regional and national work. – Collaborate with a high-quality, partner-led team across various banking specialisms, delivering innovative and commercially-driven solutions. About You To be successful in your application for this Banking Lawyer role, you will: – Have a minimum of NQ-3 years’ PQE, with experience in banking or corporate law. – Ideally have gained experience in a leading national or City law firm. – Be technically strong with a commercial awareness and a keen interest in business development. – Possess excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills, with a client-focused approach.
