JOB DESCRIPTION: Barista

Serving made-to-order Breakfast & Lunch, in 2 Horsham locations, our cafes are places where the sense of home-cooked foods and the sounds of soulful music meet to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. 

Job Summary:

We are looking for friendly and passionate Baristas to join our business. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages according to café recipes and standards.
• Operate and maintain beverage brewing machines.
• Take customer orders, and provide prompt service.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings and be able to make recommendations to customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous barista or café experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Experience & Education:

• Minimum 6 months in a similar position
• HS/GED

Shifts/Hours:

Required Hours: 9 am – 2 pm, M-F. No weekends! 

Additional hours offered can increase your earnings. This work may include daily prep, meal prep and/or catering. Be sure to tell your interviewer about your interest and availability for these extra hours!
