Daily duties require providing accurate, friendly and quality service to customers when interacting with customers via phone, text and email. Additionally, being able to effectively utilize tools and procedures to ensure workload is completed daily. Last, reporting on transportation department activities to local management and our corporate office.You are:Organized. You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and can stay organized when handling multiple tasks.Detail-oriented. You will ensure a high degree of accuracy in your tasks, in accordance with our customer and company requirements.Team-oriented. You will support the Transport Supervisor/Manager with the day to day, and willing to jump in where needed to assist.You will:Act as a point of contact for transportation and ensure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention.Assist customers with confirming their Transportation needs.Verify vehicle locations and delivery address prior to pick up.Run aging reports and contact sellers and buyers regarding outstanding shipments.Maintain excellent customer service, strong telephone support and ability to answer or research the answer to customer questions.Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for all contacts and transactions.Be familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer service.Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner. Advise manager or designated supervisor of all serious complaints or incidences.Assist customers in understanding OPENLANE systems, where applicable, and escalate any system issues appropriately.Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance.Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner.Ensure proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins, schedules and accounting from manager or designated supervisor or other corporate sources. Maintain a good flow of communication with the Manager or designated supervisor and other personnel.Must haves:High School diploma or equivalentBilingual (English/French)1-3 Years’ of related experience in a logistics or dispatching roleTech-savvy, and comfortable using Google SuiteExcellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills with strong attention to detailAbility to maintain calm and diplomatic in dispute resolution situationsAutonomous, self-driven, proactive and a team playerNice to Haves:Post-secondary education in a related field is an assetSelf-starter who can assess work volumes and ensure timely completion of prioritized tasksExperience with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE systemsSound like a match?
