Billing Clerk in Louisville, Kentucky

Description We are in search of a Billing Clerk to join our team. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, the role is set within the industry. The selected candidate will be tasked with solving problems, handling billing tasks, and thinking strategically.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and manage the processing of over a thousand invoices monthly

• Maintain a deep understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles

• Use critical thinking skills to solve issues that may arise

• Review all billing-related details to ensure accuracy

• Use various accounting software systems and computerized billing systems for efficient work processes

• Handle accounts receivable and other accounting functions

• Answer inbound calls and resolve customer inquiries

• Maintain and update customer records in the EHR system

• Utilize Epic Software and About Time for various tasks

• Act as a strategic thinker, reviewing and matching postage to what is being billed. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Computerized Billing

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing Functions
