BIM Information Management Engineer (m/f/d)

BIM Information Management Engineer 

As a BIM Information Management Engineer, you will play a key role in managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) data to enhance decision-making, optimize project performance, and ensure data security. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about digital construction, data analytics, and collaborative workflows in large-scale industrial projects.

Job Responsibilities

1. New challenges: Become part of the facility team to build ESMC’s 300mm semiconductor fab.

2. System Ownership & Optimization: Monitor and evaluate the performance of project participants to ensure deliverables meet client expectations and standards. Address issues promptly to maintain project quality and timelines.

3. Technical Expertise: Support the modeling of security-sensitive areas within the project, ensuring adherence to stringent security requirements and protocols to maintain the integrity and safety of the project environment. Implement and maintain measures to protect the integrity and security of BIM information, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and protocols to safeguard sensitive project data.

4. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze BIM data to extract valuable insights and generate visual reports that support informed decision-making, helping project teams to optimize performance and outcomes.

3. Project Involvement: Develop and implement BIM strategies from construction to operation, ensuring seamless integration and effective use of BIM methodologies. 

4. Training & Collaboration: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support on BIM tools for project team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize BIM in their roles. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement BIM-based operational use cases that enhance project efficiency and performance, leveraging BIM capabilities for optimized outcomes.

5. Document Management: Assist in the creation, management, and maintenance of project documentation related to BIM processes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all project stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications and Education:

1. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

2. Advanced certification or training in BIM technology, such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and similar tools

Must have experience:

Experience in BIM Information management, particularly in large-scale industrial or manufacturing projects

Language Skills:

Fluent in German and English

Professional Skills:

1. Proven track record of managing BIM processes in all stages of construction projects.

2. Proficient with Microsoft Office

Personal Attributes:

Strong analytical thinking and highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others.
