They specialize in developing cutting-edge materials and technologies that have a transformative impact on transcutaneous 3D in-situ bioprinting.As a Biomaterials Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing, testing, and optimizing new biomaterials for medical devices, tissue engineering, drug delivery systems, etc.].
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and industry experts to design innovative solutions that meet the highest performance and safety standards.
Your work will directly contribute to the development of products that improve lives and advance our understanding of biomaterial science.Your tasks

  • Oversee the design, development, and biomaterials evaluation.
  • Conduct research and experiments to test material properties, such as biocompatibility, mechanical strength, and degradation rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate biomaterials into product development processes.
  • Analyze data and present findings in technical reports, publications, and presentations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in biomaterials and related fields.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes for scalable production of biomaterials.
  • Provide technical guidance to support team projects.

Your profile

  • BSc., MSc. or PhD (preferred) in Biomaterials, Material science, Biomedical engineering, Chemical engineering or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in biomaterials research, development, or related roles
  • Proven track record of successful biomaterials projects, including publications, patents, or product launches
  • Strong knowledge of biomaterials, including polymers, composites, and hydrogels.
  • Experience with material characterization techniques (e.g., spectroscopy, microscopy, mechanical testing).
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and simulation tools.
  • Understanding of biocompatibility and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 10993, FDA guidelines).
  • Fluent in English is mandatory, bilingual ideally (FR/ENG).
