Boca Raton Regional Hospital is an advanced tertiary medical center with 400 beds and is a recognized leader in Cardiovascular Care, Oncology, Women’s Health, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and the Neurosciences, all of which offer state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging capabilities. 

Description

Interviews patients and obtains complete and accurate information following the guidelines set forth by the State of Florida, Florida Department of Health and the Office of Vital Statistics for completion of Certificate of Live Birth within five (5) days of the live birth at any of our locations. Collects information for the Healthy Start Program sponsored by the State of Florida and completes all required documentation for the HRS Department. Works as a team to meet department goals, enhance patient satisfaction and promote our service standards. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 – $18.53/ hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Additional Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Experience working in a highly focused customer service-oriented setting. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, detail oriented with good interpersonal and organizational skills. Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment operations. Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel Required. Database and computer literacy required. Requires typing of 25wpm and passing a filing test. Bilingual required. Registered Health Information Management Technician – RHIT or Registered Health Information Management Administrator – RHIA certifications preferred.
