- Conducts regular auction market analysis to accurately price inventory to increase conversions and reduce re-runs.
- Maximizes profitability through negotiating individual and bulk inventory with local and overseas buyers.
- Increase buyer network based on inventory acquisition history for off the block sales.
- Assist internal and external partners through consulting on market trends and pricing changes.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the business model and serve as a liaison between the customers and the organization.
- Collect and regularly update information from clients related to projected volumes and provide to Senior Leaders.
- Utilize all appropriate means to research, respond and resolve customer issues and concerns.
- Work alongside Operations team and Yard General Managers to resolve issues.
- Meet with the technology team and work to create business efficiencies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience required.
- Business experience will be considered in lieu of a business degree
- In depth wholesale market knowledge of Automotive and Commercial inventory.
- Minimum of three (3) years of account management experience required
- Must be highly skilled in organizing and prioritizing workload.
- Be creative and solutions-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Possess public speaking skills
- Ability to prepare and make professional presentations to clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Have a general understanding of B2B interface technology
