BBSI has partnered with a well-established Construction Building Materials distributor headquartered in Irwindale, with 3 locations. Due to our expansion and steady growth we are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our amazing team.

position Overview

The Full Charge Bookkeeper is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations for a multi-location business. Key responsibilities include Accounts Payable, General Ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, POS reconciliation and reporting, vendor management, and month-end close activities.

While the employee count is relatively small, the complexity of supporting three store locations, managing multiple vendor relationships, reconciling POS transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records elevates this role beyond that of a traditional Bookkeeper.

Primary Responsibilities

• Full-cycle Accounts Payable processing
• General Ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
• Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• POS transaction reconciliation and reporting
• Vendor management and payment administration
• Month-end close preparation and financial reporting support
• Cash management and deposit reconciliation
• Financial record maintenance and audit support
• Coordination with ownership, CPA, or external accounting firm

QUALIFICALTIONS

• 5+ years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience
• Multi-location retail, distribution, or service industry experience
• Strong General Ledger and reconciliation expertise
• POS system experience
• Experience with Epicor Eagle software, Google Docs and MS Office
• Proven ability to independently manage month-end close activities
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
