Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in Mechanicsville, Virginia, 23111, United States for a Bookkeeper. You will be joining our team in the industry, where you’ll be responsible for managing financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and handling general office tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record transactions in accounts payable and receivable

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Conduct regular bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and month-end close procedures

• Use QuickBooks or similar software for financial management and reporting

• Assist with processing sales tax and payroll

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting

• Ensure all financial records are kept up to date and accurate

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Demonstrable experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Must be adept at performing Bank Reconciliations

• Strong Bookkeeping skills are essential

• Proficiency in Data Entry is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Experience in Month End Close processes is essential

• Must have experience in Payroll management

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must
