Summary
The position of BSA Analyst I is responsible for investigating, reporting, and preventing BSA-related financial crimes against the Bank. The position of BSA Analyst I is required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of the Bank to detect all types of BSA-related financial crimes.
Essential Duties
- Investigate and prevent BSA-related financial crimes against the Bank.
- Review BSA/AML alerts and watchlists in a timely manner.
- Review and prepare all cash reports and CTRs in the time frame specified by regulation or the supervisor.
- Prepare and review CIP and CDD exception reports.
- Review High Risk Segmentation alerts.
- Review and maintain CTR exemptions.
- Perform EDD/High Risk customer reviews as designated by the BSA Officer and policy.
- Conduct searches in compliance with OFAC regulations.
- Review and decision flagged online account applications
- Advanced skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; and word processing, spreadsheet, and specialty software programs.
- Represent the Bank to the customer in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain work area in a clean, neat, and professional environment.
- Participate in training sessions as required by the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
