ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Building Automation Controls Programmer here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building automation systems. You will be accountable for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC, fire, and alarm control systems. Your expertise in building automation controls, including Tridium Niagara systems, will contribute to the overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of our customers’ facilities.

You will report to the Sr Field Service Supervisor and travel to the customer sites in the Denver Metro and surrounding areas / states.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, program, and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, fire, and alarm systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automation systems.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.

  • Provide technical facilitation and training to customers and field service engineers.

  • Travel 50-75% outside the metro area with occasional overnight stay.

  • Must be available for occasional overtime and on-call rotation.

  • Company vehicle will be provided to travel to customer sites.

  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000-$91,520. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation controls.

  • Building Automation Software programming skills.

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid Driver’s license.

WE VALUE

  • Technical degree is a plus.

  • Niagara Tridium framework experience.

  • General network knowledge

  • Experience working with open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON, etc.)

  • Experience with Tridium, Niagara, N4, EBI, or other Commercial Industrial Systems
