Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting to fill an Building Maintenance Technician position for a client.
- Type: Full Time
- Location: Omaha, NE
- Pay: up to $28/hr
Job Duties:
- Safely perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Performs tasks that require familiarity with proper equipment, procedures, and products used in building maintenance.
- Responsible for the weekly completion of any preventative maintenance duties as assigned including electrical repairs, flooring (tile, asphalt, concrete), shoveling snow, cleaning vents, weeding, watering plants, changing light bulbs, painting, sheetrock, etc.
- Repairs: complete repairs as appropriate inside and outside
- Attend documented training on company procedures
- Keep the maintenance shop and all work areas clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous Apartment Maintenance Technician experience
- Machine Maintenance Experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
- Must have a high math aptitude, be assertive, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
