We are offering a 6-month Contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Toronto, Ontario. The Business Analyst for Regulatory Reporting focuses on ensuring accurate and compliant regulatory reporting within the Financial Institution.Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Requirements for the Bank. The role will be to understand and establish data reporting needs. This includes the process behind how the data is collected, calculated and presented in a repeatable fashion.
• Advanced Power BI skills are required. The primary goal for this role is to establish a Power BI dashboard for ongoing monitoring of the Bank’s Regulatory Requirements. Should thresholds be exceeded, appropriate remediation steps are to be executed.
• Develop Power BI dashboards. Know when limits are breached, and organization needs to be notified.

• Significant experience in a similar role, ideally with a minimum of 5 years working as a Business Analyst.

• Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas and data analysis functions.

• Previous experience in the financial services sector, with a solid understanding of related regulatory reporting requirements.

• Strong experience with Power BI, including the creation of dashboards and reports.

• Proven ability to work with complex datasets, including data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis.
