It is mission-critical for the BI Business Analyst to evolve into a conduit between BI, and our clients, working cross-functionally to become a product expert and a client process advisor.The BI Business Analyst role is project-driven and will support clients with the development of BI solutions for a wide array of Cayenta’s products.Responsibilities:Analyze current requirements, design, and implement new and improved business processesImprove and implement Business Intelligence infrastructure requirementsFacilitate communication with clientsManage and work on multiple projects with multiple teams and stakeholdersCreate portal statistics to meet client’s requirementsProvide clients with training on Cayenta’s BI solutionsMay perform other tasks as assignedDesired Competencies:Problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Must be able to analyze information to make independent decisions quickly and effectivelyExcellent oral and written communication skillsEntrepreneurial Spirit, with a willingness to ‘roll up sleeves’ and work at all levels of a client organizationExperience working with both business and IT groupsAbility to work in a team environmentExperience with relational databases, BI Platforms (Business Objects, COGNOS, TM1, etc) OLAP, and Data Warehousing preferredExperience working in MS SQL and Oracle including SQL knowledgeMust be able to successfully manage and complete multiple tasks within deadlinesSelf-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachableBachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Business Technology Management, or Management Information Systems preferredBonus: Experience within the Utility IndustryKey Relationships:Reporting to: Director, Professional Services
