Monday to Thursday in the office with Fridays off (full salary maintained) – this new 4-day work week is a 6-month trial, starting 19th May 2025.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work in our data team.The role will have two focus area’s.
- Firstly, this role will be the BA for our regulatory reporting. This will require the ability to work with the compliance team to turn regulatory reporting requirements into technical specification for the data engineers to implement.
- Secondly the BA will work with the senior BA (Data) to deliver data product ownership across the data team. This will include business analysis, requirement gathering, capacity planning, prioritisation and backlog management.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive set of requirements for regulatory reporting.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments in the markets that we operate in and plan to enter into in future.
- Create high quality epics with well articulated user stories and clear user acceptance testing criteria, in line with the software development lifecycle, ensuring delivery teams are aligned on overall intent and requirements.
- Agree acceptable service levels and performance indicators with stakeholders for the reporting systems, and ensure these are delivered and monitored by the delivery and operational teams.
- Ensure adequate documentation of the reporting systems are developed and maintained.
- Represent the delivery teams on the various compliance forums within the business.
- Conduct regular capacity planning exercises across the compliance data team.
- Contribute to the capacity planning process by producing a clear functional and non-functional roadmap and engaging with the technical leadership on establishing technical solutions and sizings of work so that expectations on timelines may be managed.
- Define the testing criteria for the systems and validate that adequate testing is performed by the delivery teams.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- You can demonstrate three or more years of working in BA positions, ideally within a regulated industry in a domain related to regulatory compliance, anti money laundering or preventing customer harm. Experience of working within the gambling industry and knowledge of safer gambling and the broader regulatory landscape affecting the industry would be advantageous.
- You are excellent at JIRA and able to use the full range of the tools functionality. Ideally you would be comfortable coaching others in the use of JIRA.
- You can demonstrate proven experience and understanding of the full product development lifecycle and agile software development methodologies.
- You have strong collaboration and communication skills. Specifically, when it comes to working with technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders, alongside fellow product team members.
- You are proficient in data analysis and comfortable using analytics tools to track performance and draw associated insights and make data-driven decisions.
- You have experience working across multiple brands and differing geographical regions.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing priorities, make decisions and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- You are a structured, self driven and logical thinker and communicator who brings clarity and organisation to complex spaces.
- An interest in sport or betting would be advantageous.
