About the team

The Information Management Suite is a key member of the Data Services group within the Trading and Asset Services business unit at FIS. This solution collective is formed of the following products:

• Capital Market and Securities Finance Pricing
• Security Reference Data

Servicing clients through both SaaS and BPaaS vehicles allow clients to meet their business outcomes relying upon FIS’ platforms and Services.

What you will be doing

Reporting to the head of Data Services, you will be undertaking a business analysts role, assisting the solutions managers in the business development of the Information Management suite.

In line with the overall strategy with each solution, the successful candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering, business analysis and socialisation with internal partners ensuring that the selected feature / functions are brought to market effectively.

In addition to this change agent role, the successful incumbent may also act as advocate within the industry to further identify product enhancement opportunities whilst also representing the view of FIS and its clients

• Identify key product deficits of the solution either through client, industry or competitive positioning
• Work with FIS technology organisation in the design, execution and implementation of the identified changes
• Collaborate and influence internal partners in the design and development lifecycle of the portfolio
• Advocate FIS’ position in the market by influencing market practice to best service FIS’ and its clients’ business objectives

What you bring:

• Industry practitioner or vendor experience in two or more of Information Management domains accrued within asset management, corporate or investment banking segments
• Ability to articulate business requirements in an effective manner catering to all internal and external audiences
• Change management experience within one or all of the information management domains
• Previous business analysis experience
• Operational experience in the usage of capital markets / securities finance pricing or security reference data
• Prior experience with to client migration projects
• Vendor and partner engagement

Added bonus if you have:

• Technical experience and understanding of agile methodologies
• RFP / RFI involvement either as issuer or recipient
• Accreditation to a business analysis industry body
• Previous program management or project management experience
