Residential Living Recruitment are working with a premium Student Accommodation provider (PBSA) to recruit a Business Analyst to be part of their growing business.Job RoleThe Business Analyst will assist the Director, Head Office Departments and Residence Teams in analysing sales, operational data and producing reports & data models to lead and improve the sales strategy of the brand as it grows. Our Client is a dynamic and growing business, and the Business Analyst will need to be hands on and flexibleSalary: £35,000 per annumJob type: PermanentWork pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to FridayLocation: Central LondonDuties and responsibilitiesPrincipal Accountabilities

  • Plan and manage the sales strategy and reporting, supporting the Director, Sales and Marketing Director, Asset and Operations Manager, Residence Teams and Head Office Departments.
  • Producing internal/external sales reports and data models that efficiently analyse raw datasets to produce meaningful business insights.
  • Using meaningful business insights to improve the sales strategy of the Student Accommodation assets.
  • Conducting competitor analysis to dynamic price the assets throughout the leasing cycle in-line with sales figures and market competition.
  • Conducting market research to support sales strategies.
  • Create and manage reports and trackers to support the Residence Teams.

Strategy and Controls

  • Maintaining alignment of sales strategy and its ongoing measurement throughout the organisation.
  • Producing new sales strategies and key sales performance reviews, including stage gates.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to improve yield management and reduce cost of sale, including price, and promotion on the proposition on rooms.
  • Control and maintain the accuracy of booking data, resolving anomalies with the Residence Teams
  • Control process adherence core sales functions, including enquiry management promotions and record management of promotions

Experience and Skills

  • A recognised qualification in a data/technology related field (essential).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (essential).
  • Languages: English (fluent).
  • Previous experience designing and developing large scale data models from scratch.
  • Ability to provide meaningful business insights from large raw datasets.
  • Experience of working with reservation systems.
  • Experience designing and building detailed sales reports from scratch.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
