Business Analytics Specialist

• This individual will play a crucial role in project management, business intelligence, and data engineering, ensuring successful execution of data-driven initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, Tableau, ETL processes, and data engineering, enabling seamless data integration, transformation, and visualization to drive informed business decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable data engineering solutions.
• Build and maintain data models, ensuring accuracy, performance, and governance compliance.
• Lead analytics initiatives, extracting actionable insights from data to enhance business performance.
• Implement best practices for data quality, security, and governance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports.

Must Have Technical Skills: (listed in order of importance)

• SQL, NoSQL, Microsoft Office, Business Intelligence tool (PowerBI, Tableau), Familiarity with CRM (Zoho, Salesforce preferred), ERP systems and databases.

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

• Python or programming language exposure for ETL, Cloud Platform (Azure/AWS), machine learning, AI-driven analytics

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues

Education:

• PMP certification preferred – bachelor’s degree required in business/analytics/technology

Years of experience:

• 1-3 years
