The team regularly acts on high profile cases and covers the full spectrum of regulatory work (both contentious and non-contentious), ranging from the defence of serious work-place incidents, criminal cases and alleged environmental offences through to representation at inquests and inquiries, and to advisory work on areas as diverse as food law, product regulation and advertising/marketing.
This role would suit a Solicitor or Barrister with experience across some (or all) of the areas of Health & Safety, Environmental, Food Safety, Inquests and Product Liability/recall. The team covers a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters but for this role, you will need to have demonstrable experience in contentious work. They are looking for a candidate with a thorough grounding and proven technical ability. Given the varied case load and large-scale projects which they run in this team, you will need to have well-developed project management and prioritisation skills. They are flexible about where candidates have been working, so in addition to private practice solicitors and barristers, they are also keen to hear from solicitors currently working in-house who are interested in making a move into practice.CompanyFarrar Levin Legal Recruitment specialises in the recruitment of qualified lawyers from NQ to Partner level.
