Ektimisi is a research and development MENA-based consulting firm operating in many countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Eastern Europe Regions. Ektimisi provides a wide range of services for non-profit and civil society organizations, donors, research bodies, and academic centers. Through our field teams and local partners, we have access to and can provide Third- Party Monitoring (TPM), evaluation, research, capacity building, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment services in many locations in the Middle East (Syria, Iraq, and Turkey).

Expected Role

EKTIMISI is looking for experts to join its Business Development Department to write research, evaluation, and TPM (Third Party Monitoring) proposals, managing client communications, and ensuring all proposal deadlines are met. The candidate should have very strong writing and speaking skills in English.

Key Tasks:

  • Prepare and draft technical proposals for different consulting services: capacity building, research, external evaluations, endline and baseline assessments, needs assessment, etc.
  • Work with the BD and Projects Manager to ensure opportunities are identified, listed, and prepared or worked on
  • Ensure all proposal documents are submitted as required.
  • Ensure effective client communication during proposal development.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and respected.
  • Perform other duties arising from the nature of the tasks above based on development of business and work activities.

Qualifications Required

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in evaluation, research and TPM proposal development (must)
  2. Have native or native like English language skills (must)
  3. Strong editing and writing skills (must)
  4. Research/assessment skills (highly preferrable)
  5. A relevant university degree (social sciences, conflict management, development studies, etc.)
  6. Demonstrate an understanding of development/ humanitarian sector (highly preferrable)
  7. Excellent skills with Word and Excel (highly preferrable)
  8. Have an ability to manage different activities and to meet deadlines

  1. The role is paid based on monthly bonus payment. The monthly bonus payment will depend on the years of experience and other proven skills.
