Business Intelligence AnalystWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing IT team in Esher.The Business Intelligence Analyst will The role will work closely with the business to understand the data, proactively produce new visualisations to support self-serve business data interrogation and ensure the entire data pipeline is fit for purpose. Advanced technical skills will be needed to ensure the data warehouse, as well as the pipelines and transformations are fit for purpose. The person in this role needs to be proficient in query optimisation to provide efficient and reliable ETL and reports.The Business Intelligence Analyst is expected to work from the Esher office 3 days a week and work 2 days from home. They will be dealing directly with the business whilst working closely with the IT Data Warehouse Lead.Relationships:This role will involve regular communication with the business, the Group CTO, the Product Management function and the wider IT team. The priority is to work with stakeholders to gain an understanding of the business and act as the intermediary between the business and the Data Warehouse Lead. Our successful candidate will have a proven track record of understanding the business they work in and using that to drive our data analysis.What we are looking for:Essential requirements and skills:Excellent written and spoken English in a commercial environment5+ years in a similar roleData visualization with PowerBI, Excel and SSRSDAXBusiness AnalysisPowerBI data flowsDeployment pipelinesProficiency in Python, PowerShell, bash or other relevant data manipulation and automation languagesAdvanced SQLETL processesStatistical AnalysisDesirable skills:PL-300 Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst AssociateFamiliarity with big data processing frameworks e.g. Pandas (python) and SparkWe are looking for candidates with a Degree level education or equivalent. • Data visualization with PowerBI, Excel and SSRS
• DAX
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, bash or other relevant data manipulation and automation languages
• At least 3 days per week office presence in Esher
• 5+ years in a Business Analyst or similar role

Desired Criteria

• PL-300 Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Familiarity with big data processing frameworks e.g. Pandas (python) and Spark
