DuPont has an immediate opening for a Business Quality Technician at the Michigan Operations Industrial Park located in Midland, MI.

Responsibilities:

• Quality data entry and raw material/product release to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• SPC data analysis and drafting of monthly control charts and OCAP reports to support key customers
• Analytical and application testing to support product data generation, customer complaints/requests, root cause investigations, development of incoming quality control, Gage R&R analyses, and other non-routine testing
• Testing includes use of complex and sensitive instrumentation and techniques including but not limited to:
• Physical properties of polymers by Tensometer, Rheometers, Thermal Conductivity, X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy, X-Ray Scanning, Ovens, Scales, Computers, Mechanical Presses, Pneumatic and Hand Dispensers
• Drafting, updating, and reviewing analytical and quality procedures

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is required
• Bachelor’s degree in the Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and preferably statistical software (JMP, Minitab, etc.)
• 2+ years of lab experience with some experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Experience with SAP is preferred
