Business Systems Analyst

FLSA Classification: Salaried – Exempt

position SUMMARY: This role is responsible for driving the implementation, enhancement, and sustaining support of enterprise integration solutions at BBSI.

This individual uses advanced problem solving and influence to drive/manage continuous improvement of business processes, legacy tool sunsetting efforts, performance monitoring and governance programs across the enterprise.

This position reports to the Manager of Data and Integrations and maintains direct relationships with Directors, Managers, Field Operations, and external partners/vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Collaborate with developers to deliver and support data integration solutions to provide for multiple business groups at BBSI, as well as with external vendors and clients
• Capture requirements through documentation, such as (but not limited to): use cases, acceptance criteria, business process models, data flow diagrams, technical specifications, domain/conceptual models, and user interface wireframes
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Partner with stakeholders to prioritize product improvements, bug fixes and enhancements
• Field data integration support tickets, providing root cause analysis and stakeholder communication to diagnose and resolve production issues
• Lead process improvement projects to successful results, on time, with budget in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• REQUIRED experience AND SKILLS:5+ years working as a BA/SA/BSA or BI Analyst
• Experience supporting and implementing API, EDI, SFTP, or ETL integration solutions
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements for data driven solutions
• Experience managing a diverse product backlog and associated change control methodologies
• Experience with product support triage and ticket queue management
• Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid development environments
• Ability to query MS SQL Databases to conduct root cause analysis for product support
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses, actionable insights, and effective tools
• Advanced ability to solve problems, analyze alternate solutions and set priorities

• PEFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:Experience working with or supporting integration middleware, i.e. Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, MuleSoft
• Experience with general software development, i.e. NodeJS/C#/Python
• Familiarity with AI capabilities (automation, agents, monitoring, etc.)
• Experience working with external vendor/contractor resources to develop IT solutions
