JMC Aviation are working with an FBO company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new CAD/CAM Programmer to join their team.This client is well known for outstanding levels of service in their FBO facility. As a family run business with multiple decades of experience, they strive for excellence throughout their skilled workforce as they deal with in-house engineering and support services on business jets.This is a Permanent position based in Stansted working 40 hours a week Monday- Friday.Salary and Benefits– Minimum of £50,000– 195 hours holiday increasing with 5 years service + bank holidays + holiday buy back/ unpaid leave scheme– Overtime 1.5 hourly rate– Company Pension– Healthcare cash plan– Death in service cover– Electric car and cycle to work schemes.The RoleReporting to the Shop Manager the CAD/ CAM Programmer will produce 3 and 5 axis CNC programs. Carryout programming duties for NPI and improving existing jobs, within a facility utilising thirty-five CNC machine tools and lathes.The responsibilities of the CAD/ CAM Programmer will involve:– Produce 3 and 5 axis CNC programs with supporting documentation– Produce 3D model data from 2D drawings– Plan and program machining methods for components– Complete setting sheets– Design tooling/fixtures to aid the efficient manufacture of precision parts– Strive to improve cutting and manufacturing times on previously completed requirements.The successful Programmer will have the following attributes:– Proven experience of Offline CAD Programming (3 years +)– Experience of programming complex parts on 5-axis machines– Proven practical experience of working within an engineering environment– Ability to read engineering drawings– Excellent communication skills– Ability to problem solve– Experience in LEAN manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement– Experienced with HyperMill and/ or VericutSponsorship available to suitable candidates.If you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For the opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
