Capacity Building & Organizational Development Consultant Pool – Kenya

Background

SoCha has a prime contract with USAID/Kenya and East Africa (KEA) to deliver the Localization, Inclusion and Sustainability Activity (LISA). SoCha works with the Mission and helps its staff, partners, and stakeholders be more efficient, effective, transparent, inclusive, and skilled in achieving development outcomes. This includes supporting USAID/KEA as it meets its goal of obligating 25 percent its funding directly to Kenyan partners by the September 30, 2025.

Position Background
SoCha is seeking services from Kenya-based consultants to provide organizational development and capacity strengthening technical assistance to organizations to strengthen locally led sustainable development programs across Kenya. All respondents should clearly state the specific counties where they have worked.

The release of this SOW does not obligate SoCha to enter a contract, nor does it obligate SoCha to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of submission of any response.

Scope of Work
The objective of this Scope of Work is to prequalify Kenyan consultants to deliver targeted organizational development and capacity strengthening technical assistance to Kenyan organizations on an as-needed basis. Specific tasks, deliverables, and timelines will be defined when SoCha contacts the individuals to request technical services. Technical assistance and capacity strengthening activities may include delivering services in the following illustrative technical and functional areas:

• Organizational Capacity Assessments
• Cyber Security
• ERP implementation and change management
• Procurement and supply chain management
• Diversity Equity Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA)
• Gender and youth
• Safeguarding and Social inclusion

Respondents do not need to demonstrate individual experience in all of these technical areas; rather, successful responses will clearly delineate their specific areas of expertise. SoCha may issue agreements to ensure coverage across geographical and technical and functional service areas.
