We have an exciting opportunity to manage the successful car parks operation within Woking Borough Council. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the council’s car parks across the borough, operating 24/7, 365 days a year. The role will be primarily focussed on managing a team of Car Park Ambassadors and security staff, as well as supporting and managing contracts to ensure a first-class service for all of our customers.We are looking for an experienced and talented Car Parks Manager who shares our values and aspirations. You will need to have confidence in your ability and demonstrate a deep understanding of complex financial processes, produce and present detailed and accurate reports, and continuously develop the service strategy to maximise the operational income and ensure the service is delivered within budget.If you have the skills and experience to lead a strong team, have the drive to succeed and you are proficient in expressing ideas and communicating excellently with a variety of external stakeholders, we would love to speak to you.The Council offers in return a W5 ranked salary of between £39,718 and £46,569 based on experience and meeting the job description, flexible benefits allowance of up to £2,241, a generous flexi time scheme with the ability to take two flexi days a month, membership of the local government pension scheme, discounted health, and leisure membership, plus many more excellent benefits.The role primarily requires on site attendance, but does have some occasional hybrid working opportunities.
