ROLE PURPOSE:
Case Management Supervisor has the responsibility for providing support to the team for assessment, response analysis, design, coordination, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of the child protection components of the response. Mainly s/he will be responsible for the implementation of the project by providing technical support to ensure child protection of the children in the project location; documentation of all events, program learning, process, and document good practices of response program including oversight Save the Children information flows.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: HPI
Dimensions: The Case Management Supervisor will be responsible for managing Save the Children’s child protection case management programme/Step-to-Protect in a specific area within the Response. The Case Management Supervisor will manage a team of Case Workers to provide holistic and comprehensive case management services to the most vulnerable and at-risk children including identification, registration, care plan establishment, referrals, direct service provision, progress monitoring and case closure. The Case Management Supervisor will also be responsible for implementing Save the Children’s alternative care package in the location, and as well as acting as an internal and external focal point for child protection in the location in which they are assigned. He/she will be responsible for ensure effective referrals and clear accountability to the person at risks

Be able and willing to respond to natural disasters or emergency situations, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL
Working Experience: At least 3 years’ experience within a development organization and at least 3 year experience in the field of child protection/case management services.
Most relevant areas experience to this position include:
Academic: Bachelor’s degree in social work, social anthropology, or another relevant discipline.
Job related knowledge: Knowledge on child protection and emergency response.
Skills: Planning and organising, analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
