• Bachelor’s Degree in a human service field required.
• 1 year experience working with individuals in a recovery setting and or crisis experience.
• Valid PA Driver’s License. Travel is necessary to offer support across Dauphin County.

Earn a $20.50 an hour + mileage reimbursement

Position Details:

• Assist in providing rehabilitation and support services for individuals with mental health and behavioral health diagnoses.
• Support treatment plans, including substance abuse services, education, and family consultation, under clinical supervision.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
• Collaborate with families to offer education, support, and guidance.
• Collaborate with various community resources, including healthcare providers, social services, housing agencies, and other support organizations, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of consumers in residential programs by adhering to safety protocols.
• Participate in direct care responsibilities, including daily living support and therapeutic activities.
• Follow and contribute to the treatment planning process in collaboration with the clinical team.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Teams are composed of professionals including psychiatrists, nurses, mental health professionals, substance abuse professionals, employment specialists, housing specialists, and a peer specialist, all of whom collaborate to provide complete services including therapy, medication management, and resource linkage to adult individuals with serious mental illness (SMI). Services are provided in the individual’s home or the community and include at least three home visits a week. Will be required to utilize personal vehicles for client transportation and community-based work.
