As a Cashier, you will craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane that creates a positive and lasting impact on Meijer customers.

Flexible part-time schedule – 3 to 4 days per week (~24 hours)
Short shifts – 4 to 6 hours per day
Weekly pay
Multiple shifts start times available:
- Morning: 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM
- Midday: 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM
- Afternoon/Evening: 3:30 PM
- Night: 6:00 PM – Midnight

What You’ll Be Doing
- Use technology to complete tasks and transactions
- Create “WOW” moments with positive, lasting customer interactions
- Accurately process purchases and handle payments responsibly
- Maintain a friendly, outgoing presence with strong eye contact and body language
- Answer customer questions and provide helpful solutions
- Build relationships that encourage customers to return
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Willingness to learn new systems and technology
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot when needed
- Passion for working with customers
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Positive, friendly attitude
