Role:

  • As Category Development Manager – you will be responsible for developing collaborative category relationship with their key strategic customers; Boots, Superdrug & Sainsbury’s
  • Key will be growing the total category for the retailer and ensuring they win through being the category expert across shopper and consumer dynamics
  • You drive retailer-centric strategies, lead and execute retailer-specific growth projects, optimize range reviews, and maintain strong retailer relationships through regular trade meetings and strategic communication.
  • Continually focused on how to unlock opportunities, identifying and influencing support required in order to be successful.
  • Internally you’ll share Shopper knowledge to help shape future shopper driven action plans to address opportunities and challenges

Ideal candidate:

  • Will be an experienced Category Development Manager, or experienced Category Development Executive within the FMCG sector
  • With 2 years minimum operating with major Grocery or High Street retailers
  • Offer excellent story-telling skills, which include a clear call to action!
  • Proven ability to lead, challenge and deliver change in a matrix organisation.
  • Action-focused mindset with proven ability to deliver through others
  • An ability to influence and collaborate effectively across market and functional boundaries.
