• Pay $39.70/hr plus overtime

• Quarterly Incentive Bonus

• $2000 Driver Referral Bonus (unlimited)

• Work Schedule:Nights & Weekends; layovers happen frequently, 3-5 days at a time

Job Description Summary: Operate Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combinations, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and collaborative manner. Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and take the appropriate steps if action is needed. Partner with your supervisor to report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints (including service interruptions) immediately. Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.

• Pilot tractor-trailers to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs.

• Collaborate with the team to report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.

• Complete required DOT and company reports.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• 3+ year experience as driver of tractor – trailer vehicles

• Class A CDL with HazMat, Doubles and Tanker endorsements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience

• 1+ year Tanker experience

• Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases
