CDL-A / CDL-B Delivery Driver – Baton Rouge

Minimum 3 years of experience required.

Evaluation Hire

$16 – 17/ Hr.

Monday – Friday 4 am – 1 pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing and recruiting firm, is currently hiring for a CDL A or B Delivery Driver for a local client in East Baton Rouge. The primary responsibilities of the associate will be to drive a company’s 24-foot Bobtail Truck to perform deliveries in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area. The individual will load/unload a truck using a hand truck and needs a professional appearance. Will be delivering food and supplies to schools and restaurants; therefore, a Background check, MVR, and drug testing will be required for this position. This is a great locally owned company that has been in business for over 50 years and is seeking long-term, reliable delivery drivers for their fleet of trucks.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for CDL Delivery Driver:

• Load, unload, and drive a company truck.
• Keep a professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Interact well with clients
• Drive professionally and in an appropriate manner
• Steel-toe boots needed to be worn daily
• Assist in the Warehouse as needed after deliveries are complete
• Delivery driver Experience is REQUIRED, Min 3 yrs
• CDL-B with Air brake endorsement or CDL-A REQUIRED
