Responsibilities
Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown, PA is hiring for a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)/Health Information Management (HIM) Technician. This is a full-time Monday – Friday position offering great pay and benefits.
In this position you will:
- Be responsible for ICD-10 coding efforts in the Health Information Management department.
- Ensure up-to-date rules and conventions are utilized when coding to ensure all appropriate diagnoses and procedures are coded.
- Responsible for ICD-10 coding of behavioral health medical records.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of medical records, recording and maintaining accurate data relating to patient admissions, discharges and transfers, and confidential compliant release of information.

Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12-acre campus in Bucks County, PA. Qualifications
- Certified Coding Specialist credential through the American Health Information Management Association.
- Demonstrates tested skills in data quality as well as mastery of ICD-10 coding proficiency.
- One to three years of clinical coding experience in healthcare field preferred.
- Ability to organize, multi-task and attend to details with extreme accuracy necessary.
- Experience with 3M Encoding software and familiarity with common office machines and standard software applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
