For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants (CNA):
0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)
1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
*eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible*
*current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment*

Unit Bio:
Maine Medical Center Portland is home to a 17 bed Labor/Delivery/Recovery unit located in the new Coulombe Family Tower, where about 3100 babies are born each year. We accept high risk pregnancy transfers from both Maine and New Hampshire. Maine Medical Center has a Clinical growth pathway, with a strong history of growth in this department, this is a great opportunity for people who are seeking professional growth, research, and development. Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant II role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Certified Nursing Assistant I role.
