Our Operating Room is home to 12 + 1 rooms, conducting over 7,000 surgeries per year. From bariatric to gynecology to orthopedic to cardiovascular procedures, our surgical team is focused on creating a comfortable and positive experience for our patients and their families.
The surgical technologist serves as a member of the Surgical Services team, working under the direction of the registered nurse and in cooperation with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other ancillary personnel in delivering patient care assuming appropriate responsibilities pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively.
This full-time position will require you to work 36 hours a week, 6:30am-7:00pm, with a holiday and on-call rotation.
Our Staffing Reserve Certified Surgical Technologists are paid $65 per hour while also being eligible for overtime, applicable shift differentials and holiday/Sunday premium pay.
What is required for this position:
Upon hire, you must have:
Associate’s degree in Applied Science Surgical Technology from an accepted accredited program
Indiana License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Surgical Technology Certification with 6 months of hire.
