Responsibilities:
– Chemical Preparation: – Measure and prepare chemical components according to specified formulations and production requirements. – Ensure accurate quantities and adherence to established ratios. – Pouring Operations: – Pour and mix chemicals into the foam production equipment in a controlled and precise manner. – Monitor the pouring process to ensure consistency and quality. – Quality Control: – Conduct visual inspections of chemical components for any signs of contamination, impurities, or irregularities. – Report and address any quality issues or deviations from specifications. – Safety Compliance: – Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines related to chemical handling and pouring. – Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. – Material Handling: – Move and transport chemical containers within the plant using appropriate material handling equipment. – Collaborate with the inventory control team to manage chemical stock levels. – Documentation: – Record information related to chemical batches, including quantities, lot numbers, and production data. – Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately. – Equipment Operation: – Operate and maintain chemical pouring equipment, ensuring proper functionality. – Conduct routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions promptly. – Communication: – Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. – Report any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. – Emergency Response: – Follow established procedures in the event of spills, leaks, or other emergencies. – Participate in emergency response drills and training sessions. – Continuous Improvement: – Identify opportunities for process improvement in chemical handling and pouring operations. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency enhancements.
Qualifiations: – High school diploma or equivalent. – [X years] of
experience in chemical handling, preferably in a foam manufacturing or related industry. – Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to chemical handling. – Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. – Ability to follow precise instructions and work in a fast-paced environment. – Physical ability to lift and move heavy loads, including chemical containers. – Effective communication and teamwork skills. – Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating chemical ratios.
