Pay Rate: $18.56/hr. on w2 without benefits

Shift timings: Monday to Friday (7am and 6pm )
Job Description:

• This position is likely for a Laboratory Technician or Analyst in an environmental lab setting, focusing on General Chemistry and Microbiology.

Required Skills:

• Software Proficiency:
  • Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis, Word for reporting)
  • LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for sample tracking and data management
  • Instrument software for operating lab equipment
• Lab Techniques:
  • Pipetting (accurate liquid handling)
  • Use of balances and thermometers
  • Basic calculations (dilutions, concentrations, conversions)
• Instrumentation Knowledge:
  • Chromatography (e.g., GC, HPLC) is a plus
  • Familiarity with environmental industry standard equipment.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience, ideally 1–3 years in an environmental lab.
• Experience in general chemistry or microbiology testing preferred.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples (water, soil, air).
• Perform routine lab procedures (pipetting, weighing, temperature checks).
• Record and report results using LIMS and Microsoft Office.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure quality control.
