Safely prepare and administer chemotherapy and other oncology medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
Closely observe patients during and after treatment for side effects or adverse reactions, and take appropriate action when necessary.
Provide education on chemotherapy regimens, side effects, symptom management, and at-home care to help patients and their families understand the treatment process.
Record all medications administered, patient assessments, and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Work closely with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
