To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified Clinical Technologists and Engineers for the post of Chief Clinical Technologist in the Department of Medical Physics and Bio-Engineering based at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.The appointee will lead and participate in all aspects of the Electromedical Equipment Services Section’s repair, maintenance, calibration and safety testing activities across NHS Highland including providing contingency cover for Argyll & Bute. The appointee will be the named medical equipment emergency contact for NHS Highland North. The post holder is responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day activities of a team of nine personnel, consisting of three Lead Clinical Technologists (Band 6), three Medical Equipment Technicians (Band 5), and three Medical Equipment Technicians (Band 4). The appointee will also beThe post requires an honours degree in an appropriate discipline and significant experience in medical equipment management, with knowledge across the field, suitable to the wide advisory and planning influence of this role.
