Chief Medical Technologist
position Description
Acts as lead medical technologist in a medical laboratory. Performs chemical, microscopic, serologic, hematologic, immunohematologic, parasitic or bacteriologic tests. Coordinate daily activities of the lab, maintain inventory and equipment, and perform administrative duties associated with lab. May manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adheres to approved budgets.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in biologic, natural, physical, or related sciences. Medical Technologist (MT) ASCP registry. A minimum of five (5) years post registry experience as a medical technologist or as required by lab certifications.
