As a Chief Psychiatric Officer, you will perform professional and administrative work by planning, coordinating, developing, and evaluating agency-wide psychiatric services. You will oversee policy development for individuals treated for mental illness. This will include:
In addition, you will serve as an expert resource to the Bureau of Health Care Services, participate in the credentialing and privileging process of psychiatric physicians, oversee clinical quality management programs, and assist with case management and mortality reviews.
