CI Engineer Renewable Energy – Guymon, OK

Duties: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address inefficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure their sustainability. Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor performance metrics and track the progress of improvement initiatives. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Provide training and support to plant personnel on continuous improvement methodologies. No hire / fire authority.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field and one year of experience in continuous improvement roles. Must have experience testing material in anaerobic digestion, and interpreting and understanding the results. Must have experience with lab equipment including digestives, balances, test kits, spectrometers, HPLC and Gas chromatography; as well as experience calibrating the equipment and interpreting results. Must have experience with oxygen demand testing, alkalinity testing, biomethane potential tests, sludge methanogenic activity, and volatile solids testing. Must have experience with creating testing protocols and training and implementing testing protocols. Must have experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Lean Manufacturing. Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Excel), SQL, and Access. 30% travel required for testing and training, up to 300 miles from worksite.
